I'm Barrett.

I've loved traveling for as long as I can remember. Family trips growing up, and then, as I got older, planning trips for friends and the people I love. I was always the one researching the destination, vetting the hotels, organizing the group, and building a detailed map of every place I'd been with my recommendations marked and highlighted. I still make those maps.

After an unexpected career change in 2025, I decided to put my love of travel and my project management background to work in the same place, and Barrett Lane Travel is the result. It lets me do the two things I care most about at once: exploring the world, and building trips people remember years later. No trip is too big or too small, and every recommendation I make comes out of real research and honest vetting. If I wouldn't book it myself, I won't send you there.
